The Space Generation identifies people who have an interest in space exploration, a passion for making a difference and a commitment to action.
The Space Generation's global volunteer base works on events such as the Space Generation Congress ( www.ExplorersWanted.com) where delegates are invited to gather to learn leadership skills, network with international space leaders, and create lasting projects such as Yuri's Night, the World Party for Space.
Another activity of the Space Generation is the Space Generation Advisory Council to the United Nations Programme on Space Applications which has a formal role with permanent observer status in the United Nations and is based in Vienna, Austria. SGAC is designed to give input to policy makers and maintain representation of the worlds youth. Space Gen is also registered as a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation in the United States.
